Remote won’t change channel or guide

Remote volume works BUT

channel/guide and other buttons do not work

tried MUTE ENTER and the 

applying FR/IR setup Please wait  with cancel in blue — no okay button this then disappears and buttons still do not work

What is the receiver model and remote model? Has this been an issue in the past? Any changes that you know of that could have caused this?

Receiver ID is 0251 9078 7918

model is -HR44-500

where can I find remote model ???

no changes —worked last night 

no past problems

The remote model is located at the top left of the remote and starts with RC.

calling support may be a waste of a time as they’ll likely suggest getting a replacement remote or replacement receiver. Before doing that we can provide guidance here.
