Replacement Receiver
I own a business and one of the receivers is not working properly it has pixels on the screen and it is discolored on the tv. It is not the tv because I plugged the HDMI into another receiver, and it worked perfect on the tv. I called DIRECTV to have a replacement sent she proceeded to tell me that I need to extend my contract for another 2 years, the box in question is not even a year old in the business. My question I want to find out is. Is there another route to take to get the receiver replaced without dealing with the 24-month agreement? I feel like something this simple should have been resolved without backdooring me to sign an extension on my agreement. If they said sure we will send you a replacement right away I am more than likely going to stay with DIRECTV, but now I have a bad taste in my mouth from how they are handling this issue.

Do you get DIRECTV for BUSINESS through a dealer? They should be in charge of all receivers. What is the current receiver model giving you issues? All businesses own their receivers (buy them outright) and contracts aren’t usually a thing with equipment. You should look for a replacement receiver online at solid signal or consult your dealer.
