SWIm connection loss for the past few days off and on.

Is there something going on with the directv servers? Swim connection loss and spotty reception for a couple of days now with no clouds???

DTV doesn't have servers, the channels send their programs to a DTV uplink center that sends them to the sats that sends it to you.

Most likely you dish needs to be aligned, there are videos on youtube that can help if you want to try it yourself otherwise you have to call DTV to setup a tech visit.

if you are getting 775 messages it means your dish is not getting power from your power inserter. It's nearly always cause by a bad cable connection between the power inserter and the dish.
