Unable to adjust volume on my Westinghouse Roku TV using my DirecTV remote
Hello Everyone!
I am not able to adjust the volume on my new Westinghouse Roku TV using my DIRECTV remote for some reason. Everything else seems to function as expected. I have tried all troubleshooting with no luck. I am only able to adjust the volume using the remote that came with the Roku TV. Any assistance on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I read that link, it has nothing to do with what he asked as far as I can tell.
His audio functions, it's the DTV remote that cannot control volume. The TV remote does the volume just fine.
I'm having a similar issue not being able to program my RC73 to control a tv also.
The first thing is to ask what DTV system the OP has, and what remote.

That link did not solve my issues. I am currently using an RC 60 Series remote with this receiver/TV. It appears that I have paired it successfully to the Roku TV but am still not able to adjust volume using my DirecTV remote. I tried using different HDMI ports but get the same result. Everything else seems to be working just fine.

What DVR/Receiver model number?
That RC6x remote might not have commands for that TV's volume setting.

You should be using the RC7x remote with an HR44 HD DVR. The RC6x is for older boxes.

Jus tried my RC 72 and no luck, I am not able to pair it. I just put in new batteries and when I press MUTE + SELECT nothing happens, it does not blink green. Maybe I need to buy a new remote? Maybe I will just use both the Directv remote and the TV remote to adjust the volume. Nothing seems to be working.

That is mute and enter then the TV shows now in RF, mute and select is use to reset the remote to factory setting after entering a set of numbers I don't remember.

I got caught on that one, was using the select, when I should have been using the enter.
