Try going through the settings and resetting your remote for the TV. If that does not fix it then your TV may not be able to be controlled by the remote and will need to use the remote that came with your TV. I have one TV that the remote will not turn the TV on or off. It is very frustrating that I have to use 2 remotes luckily that TV is not my main TV.
