What does duplicate post closed mean?

Jus a few quick questions. What are the dimensions of the dish mounting brackets? Will the mounting bracket of the dish be able to be bolted onto a 4x4 post? Or, will the post be too narrow? If so, I'm thinking I could bolt a piece of a 2"x8" board to the 4x4. Thanks in advance!
