In defense of WCCB Charlotte and other independent stations being added back to DirecTV via Internet

Why does the DirecTV via Internet lineup include independent station WAXN CH. 64 and not WCCB Ch. 18? It is still listed in the local channel lookup on DirecTV's website as an independent station but must have been dropped when they disaffiliated with the CW in 2025. Bahakel Communications has made a great deal of progress turning WCCB into a local sports powerhouse with live coverage of the Charlotte knights, Checkers, Independence, and Anthem. It deserves to be included in a streaming service known for hassle-free access to regional sports.
