More money no contact
I was one of the first to join and was offered 35.00 for life at the att store, for some reason you couldn't keep that promise, and now my bill went to 84.99 up 10.00 with no contact from you. Am I going to have to seek other options because this is getting out of control, I SIGNED UP FOR 35.00 FOR LIFE AND NOW AM AT 84.99. I should be a little upset you think ?

I am going to move to fubo for 20.00 less a month, they have the 2 channels I watch the most. And your award just makes you look like a strong arm employee,

They asked me to do a side bar with my problem an hour ago and I wrote to them, crickets, also with the phone call in 6 to 7 minutes I was to get two hours ago, this is bad as it get for costumer service, and I have been dealing with it since 2017.

My understanding is that the first few days the service was offered (November 30 2016 through the very beginning of December) they failed to make clear that it was the discount rather than the price that was fixed. They addressed that by the end of the first week by adding that info (basically, that the price for those initial subscribers could go up, but no faster than it went up for all other subscribers) to the fine print on the web site. As far as I know, it was always in the Terms and Conditions. The sales reps likely didn't make it really clear, because sales reps in general (and theirs in particular) tend to overhype things and not get the (important) details right. That's why I personally don't trust what they say and only go by what I can get in writing.
And nothing was signed or by contract, because there was no contract - technically, they could make any change at any time, and your only recourse would be to cancel without any penalty. In fact, they have maintained that $25/month discount ever since. With all the general price increases, this obviously isn't as good a deal as it once was, but it's still a significant discount.

This has been my understanding since I fought the first increase, they can do anything they want. Thanks for info you are much nicer than the other guy in this conversation who told me to get over it and move on, I did get some help from the Corp. and will be staying for one more year. Someone needs to come out with a service where I can just pay for the channels I want, that would be nice.
