Unable to login to 3rd party apps with Directv provider option
I have been trying to use max and Paramount+ on my computer with my DirectvStream subscription, but when I attempt to login through the provider option, I get an error saying an error has occurred. Is there a reason this feature is not working?

Be sure that you select "DirecTV Stream", not "DirecTV".

Also, test outside the web in an app on a device - for the web, make sure you clear your cookies and use incognito mode.

Hello, I have attempted all of these suggestions and it worked for max, but I am still having an issue with SHOWTIME/Paramount+. It keeps taking me to a page to create a new account and saying it is having trouble authenticating my account.

For paramount+ in specific you have to do that. Let me see if I can find the instructions because this came up few months ago.

from an old thread:
- For P+: Paramount instructs customers to link their provider account to a Paramount Plus account via the web, and then log into the app with their Paramount Plus account. They don't support logging into the app using provider credentials. Yesterday I was able to log in with my credentials on the web and create a new P+ account that was then linked to the credentials, and then I used the new P+ account to log into the app on my Gemini, and everything worked fine.
