What are the instructions for adding additional tvs to the controller for streaming? I was told by the salesman we can add any wifi enabled tv.

You don't really "add" TVs to the streaming box. You add streaming devices or apps to your TVs. Only Samsung TVs support a native DirecTV Stream App, but that App is junk. The best approach is a Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV box connected to your TVs.

And if you got the impression from the salesman that you can run multiple TVs from a single box or that there is a special "controller", both are incorrect. One "box" per TV, and none are special.
