Audio lag via Gemini Air unacceptable

For the amount of money I pay for this service, I should be able to listen to Dolby 5.1 content without a very unacceptable audio delay.  When I launch Youtube through my smart TV app and watch a video/audio sync vid, there is no delay.  Launching the same video through the Gemini Air, the audio delay is a whopping 14 frames!
