Can not watch certain channels on the direct tv app
Certain channels give me this error message

We hear you @Rg1400. We understand how convenient it would be to be able to watch all your channels on the go. Due to broadcast restrictions, the programmers, not DIRECTV, determine which TV shows, seasons, episodes, are broadcasted on their channels for streaming. We appreciate your understanding. This to me is a deal breaker. I just decided to come back to DTV after taking a break from it being so expensive. Now I cant watch DTV on my app except for only a few channels?! This is one of the reasons why DTV (Edited per community guidelines). Since I have 14 days to cancel, im going to do so and send my box back because this is so ridiculous!

This is not a contractual situation. It’s a technical issue with DirecTV. I have the same issue and can’t watch some local channels, CNN, ESPN, etc. I’ve been on a half dozen calls with DirecTV tech support and they’re clueless to what’s wrong. The issue is DirecTV’s. My case has been escalated twice. I’m still waiting for a resolution after three months.
