Care code 600

Direct TV streaming was working this morning on the firestick and then quit around 0800. We have been receiving the error code ever since. Amazon, Netflix and various other steaming services work. I have Uninstalled/installed Direct TV stream, manually rebooted the router and wifi multiple times and contacted customer support. Nothing is working to get this issue resolved for us. The bedroom TV is the only one still functioning with this app currently. Very bizarre. Thoughts?

We appreciate for taking your time on letting us know. We're already noticed about Care Code 600, this issue is currently under investigation and our technicians are working hard to fix it as soon as possible to let you and all our customers enjoy the service as usual. 

 

There are a few steps that you can try to fix the issue:

 

- Sign out of single sign on (On Apple devices)

 

- Try to change your password here.

I’m also having issues in Connecticut. I’ve tried apple devices and the native app on my Samsung tv. The only one that was working was my phone, but once I signed out and tried to sign back in, it also stopped working. Is there any progress? I’m about 2 seconds from dropping DIRECTV and switching to another service.

What IP do you have? DIRECTV tried to tell me it was my internet provider, but clearly it’s not. However, one interesting thing I discovered was that if I took my phone off my wifi, it connected. Could you attempt that from your phone to see if it makes a difference?

@acalixto Sounds like wifi interference is happening with you. Do you use 5 ghz or 2.4 ghz on your Firestick? I found that using 5 ghz on my Firestick causes interference issues with my internet modem/router.  I use the 2.4 ghz connection with the Firestick and it doesn't causes problems with my other devices.

In Connecticut as well using GoNetspeed.  I'm running into same issue.  But my firestick and pc are hardwired ethernet so can't be just Wi-Fi.  And when trying to sign in on webpage it errors out as well. I've used both chrome and edge browsers. On/off vpn's.  Only sign in I've been able to do is this forum!

Down here in UT, but only on the TV with fire stick. Working on the DIRECTV box and Roku. Getting care code 600. Uninstall/reinstall did not resolve

This is Fing ridiculous.... 3 days of entering our username and password only to get the same Code 600. My pregnant wife is about to go nuclear because the customer service people aren't helpful. We honestly believe that Direct TV Streaming isn't trying to fix the problem....

going on 3 full days. Still dont know what the problem is. I can turn wifi off on my phone and can connect and stream without any problem. Turn wifi back on and when I click on sign in the log in page will not load. On the TV direct stream will not load, times out and gives Care Code 600. Have done all the rebooting and powering off several times.

Yes, we're in the same boat with all of you. We have a Firestick and this has been going on since Saturday morning. Support says it should be resolved by Wednesday (once they finally admitted it was a problem). This is unacceptable.

Not just fire sticks either.  I'm on Apple TV app and oddly it works on two TVs but not on one which is blocked authenticating.  Didn't initially work on any and removed app from one appleTV then reloaded the app and that is the one that won't connect.  

Tried same on safari, chrome, etc from laptop and fails due to authentication server at this address not responding:

https://oidc.idp.clogin.att.com/mga/sps/oauth/oauth20/authorize?

Devices that are already authenticated before the server became unreachable seem to work still but those needing to authenticate fail with Code 600 on app and unreachable via web.

Same problem in Al on fire stick and Roku works fine on samsung tv and I-pad, they said it’s escalated and they are working on it?? useless!

Sounds like the problem is more ubiquitous then yesterday.  Posted on a few threads already...same issue others having..here in CT.  Cannot login via firestick and get timed out with Care Code 600 and cannot log in at all even on DTV website.  Timed out there too...has to be an issue with the server and account authentication all of a sudden.

Will this really be resolved by Weds as others have mentioned?  I couldnt even get thru to Customer Service and when i could the connection was awful.


NEED HELP?
