Direct TV Stream App not available on my device

We just switch over from satellite to Direct TV Streaming and we are trying to hook up our TV's.  We were able to get the main TV set up, but while trying to connect the bedroom we had to call Support. They walked us through how to log in to the app store and told us to down load Direct Stream.  Then we were disconnected.  We tried to download it and it says that the app is not available for our device.  It's a Samsung TV.  Any advice is appreciated.  We have been at this for hours.
