DIRECTV does not work!
ordered DIRECTV stream and can access on iPhone and iPad, but could not log into app on roku tv or through their box for non smart tv’s. After hours on phone with customer service still no solution, they says it’s a software issue and I’ll just have to wait until they fix! They sent an att technician and of course not same company anymore so he couldn’t help either. If not working soon we will be canceling and letting the world know not to waste their time! We had U-verse for years with no issues…

Are you using the same ID and E-mail that you had with U-verse? There is a problem with DirecTV (maybe U-verse also) with using the same credetials. The fix is to use a different E-mail and ID for the service. Seems the system gets confused.

I am using the same user ID I have with ATT and directtv satellite. I wasn’t given an option when I signed up. The box they have sent twice doesn’t even give me the ability to sign on, it does this auto sign on and then spins back to ask me to sign in again… I went into the app and I only have ability to sign in or out not change password.

You can disable auto sign-in on the website under account details-- under "my streaming devices" Then cancel directv stream and sign up again using a new email. Use the new email when you re-start the dtv stream box and it asks u to sign in. You could change your email/user id on the account but since those accounts are all associated wouldn't do any good. You might also need to use an incognito window on chrome when you sign up for a new account (or private window on edge)

In my last post I have directions where to disable auto sign in. Don't know why people can't read and/or figure this out on their own. Google is a wonderful thing
AGAIN: Go to your account overview. In the My streaming devices area, select Manage. To disable auto sign-in, change the selector from On to Off. Follow the prompts to complete.

I finally found where to disable auto sign on, only to see it’s already disabled. Sign on ability still does not come up. I had two boxes for no smart tv and both keep trying to auto sign on….plus I’ve changed I’d and password and still can’t sign on to smart tv either….

@Lorenho You finally found it? I've only been giving instructions to you for the past 24 hours (2 posts) on how to find auto sign in in your account details. Ugh.

I have several accounts with att and DTv. It kept redirecting back into att where it doesn’t have my stream account… I had to sign into dtv directly and it still took me back to myAT&T account…this was not easy getting to the stream account
