DirecTV login
I have a third television in my home and downloaded the direct TV stream app on a firestick. After logging in with the correct credentials I am prompted with a screen to choose a package from the three being offered.. Entertainment, Choice or Ultimate.. and then sign up / pay for either.
The problem is we already have DirecTV stream subscription and am using it on one TV here in this house and one TV and another household.
We currently have a total of 2 TVs using the DirecTV Stream subscription and I am simply trying to add a 3rd TV in one of the homes.
I am clearly signed in as the screen says "Hi, John" But the only two options presented are Try DirecTV Stream (where I'm prompted to pick a package) and Sign
Out.

You posted in the DirecTV Satellite Forum. I'll move this to the Stream forum.

What devices are you using to stream besides the Firestick? Are you able to log in to directv.com online using your credentials?

I am using the same login on the Gemini device and DirecTV app on my TCL Roku TV with no issues.

I had DirecTV satellite 15 years ago and AT&T Internet before they purchased DirecTV. I am not using the same credentials as I had with either. Using same login that I use on my other 2 TV's, I get all channels except the local ones. Initially, I was able to receive them. I have powered TV on and off by unplugging, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no difference in what I receive.

Tried that. Then it wants me to pick and pay for a subscription.

Thank you. I'm calling stream tech support.

Talked to support twice. First tech (after 2 hrs on the phone) said it had to be the firestick because everything else had been gone through. He recommended a roku device as they've had fewer issues with them. Told him thanks and hung up. Went to Walmart and bought a roku device. Set it up and guess what, EXACT same issue. Called support back, after 45 minutes, they don't have resolution except to use a Gemini on that TV. Roku back to Walmart.

Agreed. It makes no sense that it worked fine for awhile then go belly up with no changes. I changed email account and logged into both tvs with new credentials with no issues. Logged into the firestick with new credentials and no local channels. Nothing else is hosed, just no local channels.

Just to try something! Go into your Gemini settings go into preferences and go into location settings. Once in there go to set new home location. Try resetting your home location at the place where you want to have more TVs because you can only get 2 TVs outside of your home network.

Won't let me change home location. Says existing one matches what's on file.

I knew of that limitation. I have same issue with other streaming tvs turned off. Still no locals on firestick tv.

It looks like what you’re running into has to do with DirecTV Stream’s device and stream limits. You might want to check out DirecTV’s official support article on stream limits, it explains how many devices can be signed in at once and how streams work across different households.
