DIRECTV problems with Samsung Smart Tv's- Need the correct website if anyone has it

Hello, Today after 3 months of complaining about buffering, black screens, sending me back to the start of recordings, being told it is my internet, being told I need to purchase the streaming box, being told to uninstall and reinstall my app, etc etc I finally spoke to a Supervisor who escalated my issue (DirectTV Stream not working with Samsung TV's) to the Netcare Team .  The Netcare team advised her to tell me they are aware that this issue is trending, they are working on it and have no ETA for it to be repaired.  In the mean time I was advised to periodically go to the following website https://odb.az.3pc.att.com/dashboard#outagecat3

This is not a good website.  Please provide me with the correct link if you have it, Thank you so much have high hopes of getting anywhere.

I also have this problem for 5 months now.  I have a Samsung 85" Neo QLED 8K (QN85QN900).  I have now tried other streaming apps (HULU, SLING, Peacock, FUBO, and few others), and none of them have this problem.  ATT says use their streaming box for $5/month, but I paid a lot of $$$ for this TV and don't want more gear.  Best Buy (TV vendor) had me add a mesh net (using ATT extender).  But none of this works.  I have to assume although DirecTV provides my family the best channel coverage, if it doesn't work - no use continuing).  Any last minute suggestions before I pull the plug?  BTW, I have ATT fiber 1G Internet service to house, and many devices on WIFI, and all work great!

@RonRB , you don't need a DirecTV Stream box to fix this issue. A $30 Roku or Amazon Fire will do the trick, too. Don't count on a fix to the Samsung App anytime soon, if ever.

Thank you RonRB , they told me the same and came up with every excuse that it is something on my end, even wanted me to call my router manufacture and have them instruct me how to open a port just for my tv’s despite my having 1G. The customer service for this issue is pathetic.  The sad things is they admit this is an issue (trend) and continue to do nothing to resolve it.

litzdog911 thank you for the suggestions

I have used both a Fire TV Stick and a Fire Cube (2nd Gen). Worked,

but I had problems with fast forwarding. The screen would display a thumbnail intermittently. Resetting the Fire TV Cube would bring back the thumbnails for a short time.

I ordered two DirecTV Stream Devices. FF works perfectly. My only issue is an occasional blank screen.  I am working with DirecTV Stream support on this issue.

We have tried most of the streaming services and we like the remote, DirecTV Stream Device and the user interface on DirecTV Stream service the best.

Regardless @JackRe .... Every device on the Approved DirecTV Stream List has issues....

For us DirecTV Stream appears to be the best compromise. I "hope" that DirecTV Stream can become as good as DirecTV was for us in the past.

Which Media Streaming device works the best with the DirecTV Streaming service?

Unfortunately they'll never get the Samsung app right, so I would just use other Roku, Apple TV, or the DirecTV device. The DirecTV device is the best because of the remote options.

RonRB-

Just a followup to my Samsung smart TV with ATT DirecTV Streaming....

I tried other apps (HULU, SLING, Peacock, and YouTubeTV) and all were great.

After much discussion with both ATT and BestBuy, I decided to cancel DirecTV.

Since I primarily watch news and sports, we chose YouTubeTV as a replacement.

@RonRB

I agree ... It all boils down to the preferences of what you watch.

Through DTV-S, I get what I want when the Samsung App works. On some of the channels they have they're own specific Apps and they recognize DTV-S as my TV subscription and allow me to login directly using the channel's app.

I figure this is the year where DTV-S's competition will tune up their channel lineups and lure more subscribers away.
