DirecTV Stream remote will not recognize Bose soundbar
I'm trying to program my mother in law's TV. Everything works fine, except the DirecTV Stream remote will not recognize her Bose soundbar. It searches but never finds it. She has a Sony TV. How do I get the remote to find her soundbar. Thanx.

Unpair the remote then restart the box --then try pairing it again.

I had the same issue with a Bose Solo Series II. The app would could not find a setting that worked, so I just kept trying each one (answer YES to question - can you hear a volume change) and exiting and then trying the volume and power on my DTV remote. After a few tries I found one that worked.
