DirecTv user name and password

I have been trying to log into DirecTv in my bedroom. It tells me  user name and/or password are incorrect. I have called AT&T (where I originally got it) and DirecTv customer service. I still have not been able to get both. They told me my account was discontinued, the address on the account was not the one I gave them, the e-mail was not the one on my account. It’s funny, I have DirecTv stream service in my living room that is working fine. I just don’t remember my user name and password. I have spent the better part of 2 days trying to get this resolved. I was able to do a change password from my phone using my e-mail, but when I attempted to log in I still got the same error message. I’m getting very frustrated.
