DIRECTV, WHAT IS GOING ON??

I have been trying to sign up for DirecTV for a bit. I keep on getting error messages so I call my bank thinking their blocking the charge, nope! So I call DirecTV, they tell me its the bank which I told them its NOT! They then proceed to tell me my account is flagged for fraud or something? I dont even have a current directv account..

FIX THIS DIRECTV, I HAVE TRIED 4 DIFFERENT CARDS, ALL THROUGH DIFFERENT BANKS TO NO AVAIL!!

We apologize for the trouble, @Lyndarose. Let's get this sorted out for you. Are you trying to sign up for a new DIRECTV account, or are you logging in to watch with an existing account online? Charles, DIRECTV Community Team

I was able to get information from a phone call. Turns out your website and my modem do not like each other. I turned off the Modem and back on, and then the website came through. My husband then tried on his PC which is newer than mine, and the same thing. He also got the error message and after we restarted the Modem it worked.  Why would that be?

We appreciate the update and are glad it is working now. That "https://spr.ly/61210BBLMbq" reference error happens when our network security layer temporarily flags your internet provider's assigned IP address due to a routing glitch. Restarting your modem was the perfect fix, as it forced a fresh, clean connection to your home network! We don't have any reported issues with PC browser streaming, but we'll keep monitoring.
