empty program showing in dvr

other day i watched a recording from DVR and deleted it. now its still there and when i click it no information is in box or screen when clicked.

how do i delete this from the DVR ?

Hopefully just a glitch. I've never had an issue deleting recordings from the DirecTV Stream box menus.

Hello @dudeinin Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your DVR recordings not deleting properly. We are happy to help.

 

Let's try some basic troubleshooting steps:

 

1.Try closing the app completely and restarting the app.

 

2.If that doesn't resolve the issue, try to power down the box and unplug it for 30 seconds and then power it back up and see if the deleted recording is gone.

if you read above i was able to delete on online and not with the directv streaming box. i did do a reset via red button after reading several other forums here and reset seems to fix most issues, but i did not unplug streaming box to do a reset.

 only been here 5 days now .my biggest complaints so far.

1-on the guide, there is no notification showing a program is recording.  you have to click the program and it shows there.  should be able to scroll thru guide with out clicking programs to find out if its recording or not.

2-the guide does not show the program is new, only way to tell is buy air date  and to find air date you have to click program and it shows air date

3-when you click program, there is not enough info there, cast, director and ratings

4-it is so much easier to use guide on internet then on tv screen and even there you have to click the program to see if its new and recording or not. way to many clicks.

i don't use social media so can you give me an area to communicate with you here where no 1 else can see.

only here 5 days and your format here is so much harder then cable providers.

how long has this streaming service been around ?
