Only certain Samsung TVs have the ability to use the DirecTV Stream App natively. But that App has all sorts of issues. Best to use a separate streaming device. The DirecTV Stream box provided by DirecTV is the best for that. But Roku, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV will work, too.
