It keeps saying "No devices available" when I click on the casting icon. Please help!

I just downloaded the DirecTV stream app on my Iphone 12. I have my phone and TV connected to the same Wi-Fi network as per the instructions.

However when I go into my DirecTV stream app on my phone and try to cast what is on my phone to the TV it keeps saying "No Devices Available" on my phone. 

My end goal is to get what is on my phone to play on my new LG Smart TV but I somehow can't get them to link up. 

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

The DirecTV Stream does not support casting.

Hmmm......maybe I am missing something here but casting from the app works for me.  The first entry is an Osprey box and the other two are our TV's. 

Now, what is odd is that our other Osprey box does not appear.  I do not recall ever going through any setup for casting or identifying devices to cast to because we never use the casting feature.   I cannot see any place in the app to try and add that other box so it sounds like the same issue the OP has.
