Native WebOS app for DirectTV Stream
I recently purchased a LG TV and to my surprise there was not a DirectTV Steam WebOS app. Does anyone know if there will be a native DirectTV Stream app for WebOS at some point?

Went through similar experience a year ago. I returned the LG and bought a Samsung. Now I'm having problems with the DTVS app on Samsung, which I have also posted in this forum.

The only TV manufacturer listed with support for the app is Samsung. Perhaps other platforms will be added. My recommendation is to focus on external streaming devices that are easily replaced/upgraded as technology changes and not worry about the smart features in your TV... get a good screen instead.

I like the integrated experience of using the TV and not having to deal with an external device. Returning the TV isn't an option at this point so I am going to have to switch to another streaming TV service that is supported on a LG TV.
