New Gemini Air device: Remote will not turn on brand new Vizio tv
The remote will not turn on the tv itself, however the automatic pairing seemed to work due to all the other Gemini remote functions work perfectly.
we currently have to use the Vizio remote to turn the tv ON but we can use the Gemini remote for everything else. Is this a bad remote or a setting we can change?

Is there a help option on the screen via a menu? It seems to be a sync issue between the TV and Gemini.
Note that I don't have your provider. I'm just trying to think of the obvious stuff.

Please try the steps below to program your Gemini Air Remote to your VIZIO TV, @peytonandcartersdad:
Choose Settings and then System.
Select Remote & Devices, then Program Your Remote.
Choose the TV manufacturer or sound bar you want to add.
Follow the prompts to finish up.
