Old AT&T TV C71KW-400 get ERROR 5107

Ludwick, that is exactly what I did. This isn't a big deal as the ebay units are likely going to work fine. They have the AT&T logo on them and are new. If they don't work, the guy accepts returns.

Tiger593, no, I used the old signup page to avoid having to pay an extra $10 for Unlimited DVR. Yes, the downside is no free Gemini box, but I needed two boxes anyway and will be ahead after 5 (one box) or 10 (two boxes) months on cost.

@txfeinbergs  Ok that makes a lot of sense.  Good luck with your boxes from eBay.  I know of a few people that were able to get some working boxes from eBay.  As long as the seller excepts returns it should be a relatively safe buy as if they do not work you can at least return them.  If the boxes do not work you could also try Amazon as there are some for sale on there.

Well, if you have issues with the ebay boxes return them. Like I said, you can contact Dtv Help on twitter and they'll order refurbished boxes for you.

I can not resolve the error code 5107 on my streaming box that has been working correctly for years.  No other TV streaming box has the problem.  Seems I am screwed.
