RC82V Remote Input Button Non-Functional for Amazon Omni Fire TV
The input button on my RC82V remote will not change the inputs on my Amazon Omni Fire TV model 4K50M600A. I have tried using the standard Amazon Fire TV setup as well as the manual setup with the model number. I have also tried a different remote with the same result. I did notice that the blue light does not flash when I press the input button on both remotes leading me to think that the input button isn't programmed for that TV.
Is there a way I can program that button or some other way to switch inputs?

Thank you for the response but I believe the question was misunderstood.
The remote is paired. The volume, mute, and on/off buttons work as expected. The only problem is the input button.
is there a way to add programming to that button?

I think TCL manufactures those amazon fire tv's. Or they used to. Try changing your tv in the remote settings to TCL. I know that was a fix late last year for some fire tv's.

@DIRECTVhelp question 1. I tried the remote on an Insignia fire tv with no luck on input changing. The rc82v originally programmed to the insignia input button didn’t work either
question 2. The remotes that came with both tv change inputs fine. I have no other ones to try.
@Ludwick577 thanks, I’ll give that a try when I’m back to those tvs.
