RECORDING A SERIES

Sure, you can change it in the recording settings for the series that you would like to change. I believe the setting is called ‘Record at Most’ and you have to change that to 3.

All i get on record series is an option to record 'all episodes' or 'new episodes'. How are you accessing the 'recording' option?

@baird_a click ‘List’, choose ‘Recording Manager’ at the top right, click Series Manager, click the Series you want to change, go to ‘Series Options,’ and make sure the ‘Keep at Most’ section has 3 Episodes chosen. 

I appreciate your help but I wonder is we have the same application. My choices are:

DirectTV Stream   Watch Now     My Library    On Demand     Guide  Tv Shows/Movies/Key words

I do not have 'List anywhere that I can find.

I am running my DirectTV thru a firestick.

Hello @baird_a, let's work on your recordings and how to manage them.

At the moment, there isn't an option to set up and delete the recordings automatically. DIRECTV Stream have a limit of storage for recordings. If a new recording exceeds the storage limit, then the oldest recordings in playlist are deleted in full until the available space needed to record the new programing is met. However, you can manage and delete your recordings. Scroll down until you find the title Delete recordings to get all the steps.

That's too bad. I came from Uverse and we had that option. I record 3 news services a day and so now I have to  delete them manually to remove them or I'll have way too many using up my data storage. I understand DirectTV allows a user to do this. Why doesn't DirecTV Stream provide for this? Will it ever?
