skipping commercials
Just ordered and installed DT Stream. Unlimited DVR and the ability to FF through commercials is included however I can not get the FF to work. Still in the 5 day free trial period. Is there any trick to the FF feature. I am watching using a Fire Stick and it's remote.

If you are watching a recorded program--hit the middle/select button and the progress bar comes up--u can do ff then by clicking the right arrow

Thanks. I think my "issue" was not understanding the difference between a recorded program and a program this is been streamed where I may or may not be able to FF depending on the network that is doing the streaming. I think I am catching on that DTS does not control FF on streamed programs, only on recordings. I think they could do a better job of making that clear.

Dtv stream isn't like a Tivo--no tuners. The only way a buffer happens on live tv is if you keep it on the same channel for a while. Then you can rewind and then ff.
