taiyilian.tec.src keeps trying to pair with my directv stream device
The message pops up and disappears in a fraction of a second. It pops up about every 30 seconds to one minute. I've turned off all other bluetooth devices in the house and it still pops up. How do I fix this?

Has to be inside your home then. I googled it--and this came up under a review someone said this device comes up as taiyilian.tec.src. Maybe this is in your house somewhere?

My daughter figured it out. Bluetooth transmitter attached to a TV that I thought had been tossed out (transmitter not TV). You couldn't see it unless you look behind the TV that is mounted on the wall. The transmitter was junk. I couldn't ever get headphones or phones to connect to it.

I did Google and no solution was found, that's why I'm trying the forum. I have nothing in my home that should be trying to pair. This only started this morning. Everything was fine yesterday.

DIRECTV Stream box. I turned off all bluetooth devices in the house. I would blame it on traffic going by with bluetooth but it always comes up as taiyilian.tec.src. Pops up and disappears so fast I had to record the TV and pause the recording to even see what it said.

Maybe it's not something in your house trying to pair maybe it is something on the outside of your house trying to pair. It could be someone else's device trying to pair with your box.

We are rural. Our closest neighbor is well out of bluetooth range (1/4 mile at least).

I'll check my tv (Vizio) it's on the older side. Checked my printer, not bluetooth, wifi direct. I'm checking every electronic thing in my house! The only other thing I can think of is an old Comcast remote laying around somewhere!

Next time you get the pairing request on your tv---can you take a picture of it and post it here?

From this morning. It flashes so fast I could only read it if I recorded and paused the video.

@dolores_gingue That's definitely a popup from the Dtv Stream box. Have you tried restarting the box? If so....try a red button reset. It's something in your home. Do you have kids? If so, check their stuff lol
Go into settings--system---remotes and devices----then at the bottom under "devices found" does it popup there? Maybe we can get more insight about what it is, if it appears there.

I reset the box. It still popped up. I unpaired and re-paired the remote and it hasn't popped back up, yet. 🤞

@dolores_gingue If it happens again Go into settings--system---remotes and devices----then at the bottom under "devices found" see if it pops up there. Maybe we can get more insight about what it is.

Having the same exact problem. There are zero bluetooth devices turned on. And it only is up for a second at a time and disappears. Reset the box, looked for it under devices found and there is nothing. Very annoying. Reset the box and it stays away for an hour or so before coming back.
