Time shown in TV guide and TV

If you are using a Genie then you do not have DirecTV Stream. Genie is for DirecTV Satellite.

Moving to DirecTV.

It can't be for satellite because I do not have a dish. 

DirecTV offers 2 option: Satellite or Via Internet. DirecTV Stream is a different subscription service than either of those. DirecTV via Internet has fees and a contract. DirecTV Stream has no fees or contract. What are you subscribed to?

What is the exact DirecTV box you're using?

I dont have a box - all I have is the gemini

Sounds like you're actually a streaming customer, not satellite. 

Try resetting the Gemini. 

You said in your original post you had a "Genie".

yeah I realized that, it is the Gemini - I have just set 3 up in my house and they are all an hour ahead

Have you verified the correct time zone in the device setting is correct? What time zone are you in? Also, the guide content is based on Eastern Time Zone with the exception to local channels and regional sports.

I was looking to see where the time zone is set and I do not see it in settings
