trying to switch from directv to Directv stream

I believe a fellow streamer by the name of jordan had the same issue. he was able to resolve w/ out canceling the service.

I apologize for my remedial knowledge of certain things. this being one of them.

my directv account is now going to be used for the DTVsteam... i should reset my email and id account for this to be resolved?.

lastly ... would you have a step by step approach or cheat sheet you could share w/ me... it would be greatly appreciated...anything to make it a bit easier... this is day 3 for me trying to figure this out...  thanks for your time..

Sign up with a different email. Do not use the email you used with Directv Satellite. 

Hi trying to switch from Sat to Stream using SAME email not switching. No DM function I can see. Thoughts?

Sorry, not possible. You’ll need to use two different email addresses for DIRECTV satellite and DIRECTV STREAM service. If you try to sign up for DIRECTV STREAM with your satellite service email, the system will come back with an error stating that the specific email ID is already registered. 

Unless someone at DIRECTV can do it for you, I don’t see an alternate method. Just setup a second email address dedicated for DIRECTV STREAM. This takes 5 min max.

Again, you cannot use the same email. Just create a new one with google takes 5 minutes.
