Unable to change option of VIEW LIVE TV ON STARTUP from on to off

Unable to change option of VIEW LIVE TV ON STARTUP from on to off

Others on the list (is cc on/off, autoplay on/off) allow me to change.

This is a nusiance especially when I last left on a sports cahnnel and it shows the current score when I want to watch the entire game.

Right, it doesn't have an arrow because you can't change it. Mine is exactly the same. It's not designed to be disabled, regardless of what DIRECTVhelp seems to think.

What streaming device are you using?

Did this use to work properly?

Have you tried resetting the streaming device?

What streaming device are you using? Irrelevant - Using settings via computer login

Did this use to work properly? Just signed up. First time I tried. It is default setting

Not irrelevant. You're using your PC as your streaming device.  I can confirm that there is not an option to disable "Play Live TV on Launch" with the PC browser.

Rafael,

No, you cannot change that setting on the PC web browser DirecTV Stream viewer. Check it for yourself.

I wish. But their answers aren't always wrong. Typically they want to engage you in a private chat support session and then none of us know what transpired.

I can tell you from personal experience that what you get in a private DM is the same level of helpfulness and accuracy as you see in their public posts.

Oh, and they don't suddenly acquire reading comprehension when they are in a DM.
