6 month pricing
I was considering to upgrade my Uverse and saw the 6 month pricing special offer but pricing after the 6 months is not shown. Is this the old bait and switch?

@Samsmalley Changes to Fees and Charges. If you signed up for Services for a specified term, you agree that if you cancel your plan before the end of the term, you will pay any applicable early termination fee. At the conclusion of your term, AT&T will automatically begin charging the applicable month-to-month fee. If you purchased the Services as part of a bundled offering with one or more other products and are receiving a discount based upon that bundled offering, your discount may cease and you may be billed the standard monthly rate for the Services if you change or disconnect one or more of the services in the applicable bundle. AT&T may, upon notice required by applicable laws, at any time change the amount of or basis for determining any fee or charge or institute new fees or charges.

In section 4
4. Pricing
a. Term Plans, Bundle Discounts. When you purchased the Service, you agreed to specific price and plan, which may have included a term of one, two, or three years ("Term Plan"). Similarly, some plans may offer a discount on the Service if you sign up for other AT&T services ("Bundle Discount"). You agree to maintain your Service and the bundled services for the applicable term. If you signed up for a Term Plan or a Bundle Discount, the price available with those plans is valid until one of the following occurs, at which time your price may revert to the then-existing price for your Service: (1) the term expires; (2) you move from your current Service address to another Service address; or (3) you drop one of the AT&T services you were required to purchase to receive the special rate.

Think that has proved it's not bait and switch. Guess you need to know how to read TOS' and where to look and comprehend the spelled out meaning. 😉

If you'd bother to read the terms, it'd tell you it'll go to regular pricing after the 6 months is up. Too many don't bother to read the terms of service, that where the real info is.

Well I've looked thru several TOS's and don't see any prices. Can you cut and paste or send a link where this is found. The info should be stated where the offer of the 6 month special is offered, not buried in a miriad of legal gumbo!

TOS will not specify prices or length of discount(s) but does say the following:
AT&T U-Verse Voice & TV Terms of Service

I rest my case, these examples clearly do not show what the price will be at the conclusion o the 6 month trial. It should be stated along with the offer of the trial.
Further more your terse remarks are not appriciated! AT&T should not hide the obvious information from the customer so that it is not out FRONT not in a TOS that one has to decipher before making a decision. If you are accustomed to TOS's etc., is one thing, but most folks are not and the customer should know up front.
It may not be a bait and switch but more like an easter egg hunt!

In AT&T's defense MANY competitors do THE EXACT SAME THING....I'm not excusing them, but it seems to be a common trait among many providers of internet and television services.
You Can find the rates for MANY of AT&T internet services and some Television tiers but you really have to look hard and there isn't one easy place on the internet to find all of the information...it would be nice if they had a rate card for the full prices OF ALL products somewhere easy for customers to access....you know hiding things like regular pricing or making them extremely diffcult to find doesn't help any business, in the end it makes for an annoyed and frustrated subscriber or potential customer. Unfortunately we all know how honest and competent the main CSRs are at AT&T as well when it comes to sales information.
I too find it puzzling and disappointing that some of the "ACE" folks around here are so
hostile and condescending to what are legitimate concerns and questions of subscribers,
things seem to have become increasingly less friendly around here over the past year or so.
