A fathers sanity hangs by a thread, PLEASE GIVE MY DAUGHTER HER SESAME STREET BACK!
What a nightmare, I get this letter in the mail, 2 days or so ago, saying you gave back the money that you had taken off my wife's debit card, saying you needed another signiture or something. Now My internet is wonky with the redirection, I'm a bit upset, I can't call you guys, wifi phone don't work so well when google voice can't connect calls. So I can't call you guys, but I'm TELLING YOU, if you want that money, and I know you do. TAKE THE FREAKING MONEY OFF ON FRIDAY, THIS ONE COMING UP! I am broke, I'm sure someone can understand that, if you don't take that money off on friday, saturday at the latest, then, unfortunately some things will go down and expenses will occur. It's called living paycheck to paycheck, why you gave us back the money I'll never know, but now you need to fix it. I spent 100 dollars for a guy to come out here and do the worst telephone jack installation I've ever seen.
I literally had to go back over his mistake with electrical tape because a day into the service, the plug had a short. I need my netflix, it's the only thing that keeps my 1 year old daughter from screaming my ears into defness, I NEED SESAME STREET! Take the money out, all of it, on friday, saturday at the latest. I'm disabled which is the same thing as being poor as (now I can't even say Hello without the o word, smfh), my wife makes minimum wage, paycheck to paycheck.
Oh and to top it all off, I CANT EVEN LOG IN TO THE MYATT that you so graciously redirect me to every time I try and do anything that isn't google search. I paid 100 dollars already, for a crappy installation of a phone jack (that I had to go back over and fix by the way,so where's my hundred bucks?) I'm sorry if I come off as a bit rude, I'm at my wits end, and the bad part is, y'all probably wont turn it back on till you get the money on friday. (Trust me, disabled man and his daughter need internet, friday that money's yours, unless you decide to send it back again.)
Please someone get back with me, private message me or something, I think I can still access my email, but I wont be posting that information on a message board where any nigerian prince can see it. I am not rich, I can pay you on friday, in fact I thought the payment had already went through, in fact, you can credit me 50 bucks, for my labor on fixing that "tech's" mistakes.
It's like this, I can live without the internet, but really, I can't, because my daughter screamed for 6 hours last night, holy jeez, I'm tired, I'm cranky, you guys gave back my money, and now I've got a screaming banshee hollering for elmo. PLEASE HIT ME BACK WITH SOME KIND OF SOLUTION! - Yours truly, desperate dad.

Sorry for the wall of rant, I had to pull out this 10 year old laptop, keeps shutting down because it's overheating, MY pc decided a week ago to fail it's hard drive. Yep, nothing but good times over here...

Do you have an antenna? Your area should have some sort of OTA (re: free) children's programming. It's not Sesame Street but it's better than nothing.
People forget that there is free Over The Air programming.

My problem actually started at the same time that I unplugged the modem's power supply, that's exactly when it hit the fan, so I hit the reset switch for 20 seconds or so hoping to fix it, and it didn't do anything, I'm going to unplug the powersupply again, fingers crossed!. Congradulations on becoming grandma!

I apologize. I suggested a WH reboot* and then re-read your post and understood that you have no service at all. I'm responding quickly (you have all my sympathy) because I've got to go feed the grandpuppies (all girls).
*Whole House Reboot
Unplug everything: DVR/STBs/RG (modem)
Wait 30 secs.
Plug in RG first. Wait for all lights to come one.
Plug in DVR next. Wait for it to become functional.
Plug in STBs next.

Well, no dice. What i think it is, they sent me a letter, saying they had to return the payment, to my debit card, and I didn't realize that until a few days ago, so what I would think, is they flipped the switch at headquarters. But if that's the case, I guess I'll just have to wait till friday, Wish me luck 😞

Yeah, It stinks because I can't call them, my phone is a VOIP, and it isn't working right now, I don't expect to have access to a cell phone in the near future, and it asks me to login to the myatt redirect, I enter my account number, guess at the password and I'm no further that route than hiking into town to find a pay phone LOL, but, they want this money. my Stella demands the service, it'll all turn out alright, just really frustrating, irritating really, and they really should credit me 50 bucks for doing half the work on that install hahaha.
Anyways thanks for the help, hope you don't see me in the papers. "Man loses mind, believes he is character from sesame street, daughter still mad!"

I do have one more question, how the heck do I log in to myatt account to sort this situation out, when I can't access my email to retrieve my forgotten password. The fabled catch 22 I believe.

You can get an antenna at Wal-mart for $10 for emergencies like this. I lose my mind when everything goes out.
I don't have a kid but I have a husband that freaks out if the TV doesn't work so I keep an antenna hooked up to the big screen in the LR. It pacifies him in the short term.

Have you tried to contact ATTUverseCares on this forum? Try to send them a private message. These people can and do get things done. They are not the telephone reps.
