About to self-install tomorrow, a question before I activate.

Let me start out by saying I am happy about the idea of switching my Internet to U-verse, but I do have a concern also.

I am signed up for the "Max" profile (ADSL2+). I cannot find a sure answer on the upload speeds, though. Seems it could be 768k, 1Mbit, 1.5Mbit, or anywhere in between. I have a friend who has the exact same ADSL2+ "Max" service and has for a while and gets about 11.8 down and about 1.1 up, so if it turns out to be something like this, that's fine. And I have done everything the right way, only a single Cat5 line runs the entire way to the modem from outside. The problem is that I need a connection that supplies at least 1Mbit upload. If this is not possible then I may have to cancel before activating 😞

-"Max" appears to be the fastest available profile at my address. Can anyone tell me with any difinitive answer what the upload speeds are on this profile so I can know if I am going to have to cancel this?

-And also, is there an ETF? If I do activate and speed becomes a problem what is the period I can cancel without getting billed an ETF?

Thank you.

Well I'm logged on/activated....seems to be working great. Getting about 11.6M down and 0.99M up. Close enough.

SN margin is a bit on the low side, and tech said it was almost exactly the same at the NID as this from the modem:

SN Margin (dB)6.49.0
Line Attenuation (dB)36.520.6
Output Power(dBm)18.412.1

Ran a couple test file downloads at various sizes, and I'm currently running netflix also, zero on all of these: loss of signal/frame/errored seconds/CRC errors. It's been on for several hours now too.

According to tech I am on about 6000ft loop...Looks like it's good despite the SN margin? I haven't had any functional issues at all.
