Adult charges
I am currently on hold with att, I’ve been on the phone for over 4 hours, been disconnected 3 times, and each time I’ve had to start over. My issue is that over the past few months there have been several adult movies charged to our account. We opened a new account and thought the extra fees were part of the switch, conection and equipment etc . It turned out to be $430 in total. Upon researching several charge dates occurred while we we out town. Many customer service reps repeat, “the only way to order is from your remote”. No one can explain how the charges were made while we are out of town, however. I was transferred to supervisor, to manager, to loyalty. Loyality finally refunded last month charges. (Which is better that most get I guess)They said that in order to go back and refunded for past months, I needed to speak to accounts receivables. I was disconnected and trying to get back to them. Here’s the big question, how did those charges get on my account to begin with? Since it’s adult content I’m made to feel like I’m lying or my husband is lying. However, no one was home and att instists that there is absolutely no other way to order that content. We have since added parental control code and have not had another charge since. This is a complete scam!

the rep was correct there no other way to order movies other than the remote. You the account holder can’t order movies online not saying your lying but it’s physically impossible to rent movies adult or not without clicking through several verification factors. Did you possibly have someone coming in and watering plants feeding animals?
