Agents lie to customers and then the problem never gets fixed.
I am a single mom of an extremely mentally disabled child, so I was needing to extend my extension due to being in the hospital. I spoke with an agent that told me if I pay half the bill and then I could extend the remaining balance. So after I paid it I contacted at&t and spoke with another agent and he stated he extended my remaining balance until 10/15/2019. I even asked him again if he put the extension onto my account to make sure and he stated I had nothing to worry about. Under the impression I had nothing to worry about, I woke up three days ago to my cable being shut off. So, I contacted at&t to fix the problem and my goodness I have been treated with pure disrespect, being called a lier, etc. By every agent I have spoke with since then. They wont look up my call or chat transcripts that can prove the matter nor will the fix it. I am beyond stressed and being a loyal customer I should not have to deal with the consistent issues, disrespect, poor customer service, ect. They need to honor what they tell customers they did as well as show respect.
