Am I fooled? I pay for what I didn't want.

I am a new customer of att internet u-verse. I heard about promotion for new customer $30/ mo ( 3 Mbps ) . I called at&t and asked about the promotion and they said yes, they could give me the promotion.I was happy and I thought I would pay just $30/ month for internet U-verse 3 Mbps.

- First month, I got a bill $91. I called them and they said it was the installation fee. Ok, It's fine. But nope, they lied. They added U-verse Voice Service ( home phone : plus $28.86 ) and bunches of fee. I believed them that it was installation fee so I paid the bill last month.

-Then the second month I get a bill now $84.43. Wow..They charge me $42/ mo for 3 Mbps ( super slow speed ) minus $27 off ( the promotion with home phone, NOT THE PROMOTION FOR NEW CUSTOMER ) + $28.86 home phone service = $84.43 somehow.

- I chatted 2 times to at&t , they said I had to called At&t. I called them 2 times. They didn't help me. They kept saying :" We appology. If we disconnect the u-verse voice, you will loose the discount of home phone which is $27 off, so you will have to pay $42 month" .

WOW, $42/ month for 3 Mbps. It is unbelievable. I feel like I am fooled. So what is the promotion for new customer ?

I didn't reguest home phone service and I don't use it.

I called at&t 2 times after I chatted to at&t 2 times, they kept hand up while I was talking. At&t don't want to help customer, they fool customers and charge customers what customers don't want or don't use.

I need help asap. I want my promotion back, $30/ mo is fine for a lowest speed 3 Mbps. My son is paying a bill of at&t internet u-verse $34/ mo for 6 Mbps . My daughter pays $37/ month for 6 Mbps. They all use only Internet U-verse without Tv or home phone service. But me, this old man , over 60 years old who has no job, a new customer of At&t who has to pay $42/ month for 3 Mmps. ( End up $91/ month for a lot of fee and service that I don't want)  Maybe at&t knows I am an old man, so they fooled me and charge me overprice. ( $91 instead of $30 )

I need some help from at&t asas. At&t please do as what at&t tell customers.

Send them a Private Message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your billing problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time (also around on weekends, FB Twitter Social Media Managers), response may take up to 2 business days.

This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done and gone above and beyond for me. They can do more than any phone rep and stick w/it till it's done.
