Anyone else have these type of issues? Absolutely disgusted.
We've been ATT wireless customers for at least a decade, even when out of contract. Recently, we added home phone (with data) and DIRECTV. I'm regretting all of this. When adding and correcting services, I have been lied to and hung up on (and I wasn't rude in any way). I was recently told that I was liable for the charges for premium movie channels that they didn't stop after the promotion period, even though they told me that the channels would shut off automatically. The channels didn't and I hadn't noticed since I WASN'T WATCHING THEM, hence the not renewing them. customer service told me they had removed the channels and charges. NOPE! They were on this months bill with a late charge. This time I was told that I had to pay for them since I had watched them-- wait, what!?! I also had to pay a late charge.
On top of this, I was charged shipping fees for a wireless home phone unit replacement that was sent at the tech support's suggestion. It didn't work and was returned. I ended up keeping the old unit. ATT used to be known for their customer service. It's why we stayed with them. As of now, I definitely won't suggest them and am looking at ways to get out from under their contracts. Breach of contract goes both ways.
