AT&T bait and switch on bundle offer
I’m having an issue with the $85 U200 with 50mb internet bundle offer I went through multiple issues with techs not having the proper amount of set tops and phone agents messing up my appointment times, on May 25th 2018 I called to cancel and stay with my ISP I spoke with an AT&T agent that said she would make it right to keep my business by offering me the first month free for all the issues and signed me up for proper bundle that I original called for the $85 bundle U200 including the 50mb internet. 1 week after installation I received a full bill way higher than the bundle I verbally approved the 1 year AT&T contract for. I called today on 6/12/2018 and got bounced around by 4 different agents that said they have no notes and they stated that the package I signed for does not and never existed I told them I have the print out to prove it, it’s still offered on AT&T website and for them to investigate my 5/25/2018 phone call to which they kept saying someone will call me back (still waiting for call backs). At this point I feel like AT&T breached their contract and pulled a classic bait and switched. Is anyone else having this issue? What legal remedies are out there to protect the consumer from baiting?
