Att is a dishonest and corrupt company

I had at&t phones and Uverse. We returned the equipment and did everything we were supposed to and they are sending us to collections because they "never received the equipment." It's been over 3 years and they are still hassling us. I am not paying for something I don't have. Furthermore, I misplaced my UPS receipt for the equipment so I called UPS and they said they keep everything on file when I told them it was at&t they said they weren't allowed to keep at&t equipment returns on file. Wow, way to cover your butts at&t. I have and will continue to steer everyone away from your company. I have had yo leave companies before due to financial hardship but always complied with their terms and when they were good to me I always came back to them.

Good morning @CelesteT

We understand how you feel! If you have evidence that the equipment was return, either a shipment receipt or tracking number can be presented as proof.

We suggest that you reach out to our collections department with those proof.

Let us know if you need anything else!

Good morning, @CelesteT.

We hate to hear that you are unpleased with the way your account was closed 3 years ago. We understand that locating missing equipment can be frustrating, especially when UPS is not able to keep track of equipment returns. We will submit your feedback to make a better experience for future users.

Since your account is closed and in the collections status, we are unable to access your account here. We ask that you speak to the collections department that mailed you a letter on our behalf. Your compliance and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Comply with what? I'm not paying what I don't owe. I sent your equipment back. At&t just decided to say I didn't. Simple as that.
