Bait and Switch??
I originally signed up for DirectTV for TV and Uverse for internet...line of site problems prevented me from using satellite for TV. I then called ATT back to sign up for Uverse TV. Asked for the same level of package, but was told the bill would be ~$5 more a month. Whatever, still OK. Tech came out yesterday and hooked me up. Hi-def wasn't working, so he was very helpful in staying on the phone with support to get that corrected. After he left, I discovered I had been set up with U200 level of service instead of U300 (more comparable to DirectTV 'Ultimate' package and what I thought I was getting). So now to get U300 and Uverse internet, I'm looking at $169/mo. I was happy with service at Time Warner, but not happy with the cost. Now, the cost is nearly the same and I feel like I've been the victim of bait and switch. At this point in time I would have reservations recommending a change to Uverse.
Note that both techs that came to the house were VERY helpful and I am happy with the quality of the product. Billing and packages need more transparency and clarity.

@darinmcc Not bait and switch, you could not get DirecTV, probably cause of trees (I assume) and DirecTV pricing was drastically reduced, but Uverse's isn't as good. You just had to get Uverse IPTV instead or could just got TWC again for TV. 😉

I was more referring to the U200 versus U300. The phone agent was VERY difficult to understand. I thought I was getting the U300 for near the same price as Ultimate DirectTV. An email requiring a response "Yes, this is what I signed up for" would have been a better way to ensure clear communication.
