Billing month ahead

Billing seems to be coming month for services not yet recieved , I thought I was already being billed at higher rates  because current promotion was expired.  I have not received any offers for new promotion to retain me as a customer.   I have thinking for two years about dropping landline when I could for not being charged early temination  and than porting landline  number to cell.  Att shot thenselves in the foot for these early billing practices.  I am doing all these changes now because I didn't realize effective date for increases was 11/29, not 10/29 because of them billing month in advance.  When I signed up orginally I was promised a quad play, not triple play including cell phone for better price.  The next month I was lied too that their was not such thing as the quad play.  I been unhappy ever since with what I have been paying.  Never should have left Comcast and Cingular.

a.  Cingular isn't around any more so take them out of the equation.

 

b.  Uverse has always billed a month in advance as do many consumer services.

 

c.  No, they don't call you to tell you that your promotion is over.  That's your responsibility.  It is clearly stated on your monthly statement.

 

d. You can bundle your cell phone with your Uverse.  They do not call it "Quad Play" though.  That's a new one.

 

Call CS and ask what kind of a discount (bundle or otherwise) that might be available to you at this time.

@TheAlf  You've been billed one month in advance on everything, POTS phone, cell phone, Internet, cable and Uverse for as long as I can remember. Smiley Surprised
