Bury a cable

Last summer, over 6 months ago, someone moved in the house across the street from me.

A few days later AT&T came out and ran an orange cable from the box at the back corner of my house (I live on the corner), down the side of the street, across the front of my house, then across the street to the neighbors box.

As mentioned, this has been over six months. The neighbors have now moved out and we have had our HOA call multiple times to get the cable buried or removed.  Please tell me who I need to contact to get this taken care of as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Eric

P.S. Sorry if this is not the correct forum but I noticed other posting here about the same topic.

You would need to call 800-288-2020 and report the issue and depending on region either someone from AT&T will come out to bury it, or a Contractor will come out to. Keep in mind if you live where there is a "Cold Season" during that time nothing will be buried and will sit in a load bucket come time when there allowed to go out to do the job. Remember though there may be several other jobs ahead of yours.

Thank you very much for the help.  We live in Texas so it doesn't get that cold here.  50+ degrees outside now.

I am pretty sure it is AT&T. I saw the guy when he was out helping the neighbor last summer.

Are you sure it is AT&T, in our area all orange cabling is from the local cable company, Uverse is black cabling where a tech would place yellow caution or orange warning strips on the cable.

The underground fiber conduit I've seen being placed (in South Carolina) is orange, whether run by/for AT&T or for someone else.  This has been true for the past 6 years.
