I am going to assume that this comment will be deleted like the rest of the commenters have over the past 10 months.
Called to cancel our service on March 29th, 2022. The first AT&T rep I talked to was Latoya. Said her "system is down," and referred me to Tashuna, who said she couldn't hear me well, but even though I said that there is nothing to discuss or hear, "Just cancel my account!" For some reason she could hear me say my phone, well enough to repeat it back to me, and added that she would, "call me right back."
Here it is, more than 30 minutes later, and I've had enough time to find this forum and write this complaint, which a "copies to" addendum will be sent to the following people and agencies for corrective action:

US Representative Josh Harder US Senator Dianne Feinstein US Senator Alex Padilla FCC FTC CFPB
AT&T makes it super easy to -get- your money. They just make it very difficult to cancel with them. If it's not a crime already, it should be. I do not have the time, nor the patience to be dealt with like that, and there is no need to be treated like that.
Thank you all for having to deal with this issue. I know that I am not the only one who has, and is experiencing this problem.

You can not cancel online. You must call to cancel those services.
