Church property damage
We filed a claim with AT&T regarding some damage to our sewer line at our church as a result of one of AT&T's contractors boring through our domestic sewer line while laying one of their U-Verse lines. The damage from the boring machine caused our sewer system to back up into our church building. We had to have a plumbing company and the city of Alvin, Texas come to our property in order to remedy the problem. This occurred on two separate occasions. On the second occasion, the city was able to determine that the problem was caused by the boring machine.
We have tried unsuccessfully to have AT&T reimburse us for the cost we incurred due to this mishap. The last call from the claims department basically resulted in the woman saying the the burden of proof and confirmation was the church's responsibility.
The total cost we incurred was only $500. But, we do not have a big budget to work with, and $500 is a sizable sum for us to have to pay out.
We are appealling to you to help us with this matter.
The claim number is: [edited for privacy-please do not post personal or unique information such as but not limited to full names, employee ID numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, etc.]

Do you have the evidence to support this and was the evidence submitted with your claim?

@texasguy37 : You should know this. Alvin, Texas is the boyhood home of Hall of Fame Pitcher, Nolan Ryan.

The city moved repaired the sewer line and covered it back up before we were able to take pictures.
