Credit Check Pass?

I ordered new TV and internet service. Provided all my personal info, set a date and time for installation. Was the credit check completed instantly or is it in process? I don't want to expect my service to be installed and be hit with a deposit fee requirement before it can be done.

If a deposit is required, usually you'll be notified by the time you finish signing up for service. We have more details about the credit check process here. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!

AT&T does not perform credit checks to determine whether or not someone qualifies for service.

 

The purpose of the credit check is to determine if a down payment, advance payment, or deposit is required.
