Credit Score is completely wrong...what will AT&T do about it?
I was so excited. I worked with a wonderful local employee that used excellent service to convince me to transfer my security, home phone, internet and tv to AT&T services. He was great and I could not wait for the change.
Today I recieved a letter from AT&T stating that my credit score was 362. WHAT?! I frantically checked the three major credit bureaus and discovered that my score is about 750 and my husband's is around 850. Of course, AT&T did not use one of the reputable credit agencies. They used SageStream LLC.
A bit of investigation revealed that this is a 7 person company with a variety of complaints about thier unfair ratings. In my case it appears that they did not even get my home address correct so who knows what else they messed up.
I am seriously considering dropping the whole change over. If this is how it is going to be, then what am I getting myself into?

1. Were you denied service? You never said either way.
2. We don't know what sort of scoring system this agency uses; perhaps it is out of 500
3. You have a right to know what information they have on you and the right to have incorrect information removed. You should follow the instructions on their website.

According to their website, you can dispute information on your file.
I've not heard of SageStream but someone posted awhile back about having a low score on LexisNexis.
I would be mad too. I'm may old but I still trust the three major credit reporting agencies: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.

I can get information from this agency but not without sending them a lot of personal information. They want paper copies of detailed information. The company has 7 employees. It is probably run out of someones garage. I am not going to send them anything.

How else could they verify your identity? I hardly think mailing a copy of your driver's license and a recent security bill is too onerous.
But you don't have to send them anything unless you want to obtain the information they have for you.

MicCheck you stated: "I hardly think mailing a copy of your driver's license and a recent security bill is too onerous." which is untrue. I would think if your an ACE- Expert that you would check the facts. Belowed is copied right from SageStream's Dispute requirements.
A. Required Information
