Direct TV / Uverse Bundle Price Bait and switch
So I get this mailer in the mail, and after 3 years of comcast I finally switch to At&T. They come out to my house and they tell me they cant get a good connection for direct tv. So I say ok, I will just stick with comcast since I have not cancelled it yet. So then the installation rep calls in and tells them I am going to decline their service. The installation tech says that customer service needs to talk to me to go over a few things. He apologizes for not being able to give me Direct Tv and then offers me the same package in UVERSE. $50.00 for TV and $30.00 for internet or and with the $200 visa card. and this is all good for 2 years. Sounds good right, has to be true I am talking on a AT&T phone which the install guy handed me. So I go through my mailer with the guy line by line and he says Yes to everything I am reading him. Lets not forget THIS CALL IS BEING RECORDED. So I agree and the Tech spends 8 hours hooking up a new line to my house to give me TV and internet. So at the end of the day I am very happy, my husband comes home and he is happy, did I mention I have 4 foster kids all under the 6 and they are happy too. So now 2 weeks later I get a bill in the mail and now nobody is happy, because I have been spending hours on the phone trying to get my PROMISED promotion. And when I would not agree to their new price, they disconnected me within 48 hours. Let me just say I did send them $100.00 prior to them disconnecting me because that is what I agreed to pay. If I am in a contract why wont they produce my contract I agreed to on that day. I have been on hold for more than 1 hour and 45 min several times to only been disconnected and I have to start all over again. I have been transferred a numerous amount of times.I have spoken to the retention dept only for them to say so so sorry we cant help you, we dont offer that promotion. I have so many names,badge numbers, notes, and I have a detailed billing on my phone to produce the number of hours I been dealing with these people. I know I cant be the only one out there that is having this delimma. Why is nobody making AT&T accountabl This is truly a Bait and Switch bullcrap I have ever seen. Not a Happy camper..... If anyone has a REAL phone number or connection to someone that can help. Please let me know.

I'm in the same boat here, only I ordered my bundle directly through AT&T online. I am being billed full price for each individual service (Uverse, internet and phone). My issue has been escalated (???) by customer service, but may take 30 days to resolve. In the meantime, I have to pay a bill that is over twice what I should be paying. Not happy at this point.
